Strawberry and Cream Smith Island Cake
Created by SIBC's own Chef Jordan Lloyd, our Strawberry and Cream Smith Island Cake is made from layers of moist, made from scratch yellow cake, and our housemade, strawberry infused French buttercream. The cake is 9" in diameter, 3.5" tall, and yields 14-16 slices. Considering Marion Station, Maryland, is just up the road from Crisfield, and it was known as "the strawberry capital of the world", it's only fitting SIBC feature a cake worthy of such a legacy! Like all SIBC products, it is shipped frozen with dry ice in a recyclable cake box with the option to include a gorgeous, custom SIBC cake tin.
