Ingredients

Smith Island Baking Co. cakes are made from scratch with the finest ingredients, including hand-sifted flour and cocoa, whole milk, sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla. Sure, making our cakes this way takes a little longer. But we think it’s worth it, and we think you’ll agree. Below are the ingredients in each of our cakes. Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake:

Cake Ingredients: Flour (sifted), sugar, eggs, butter, whole milk, vegetable oil, salt, vanilla, baking soda and baking powder

Frosting Ingredients: Confectioner’s sugar (sifted), evaporated milk, (if chocolate peanut butter frosting, peanut butter), butter, cocoa (sifted), and vanilla

Coconut Cake:

Cake Ingredients: Flour (sifted), sugar, eggs, butter, whole milk, salt, vanilla, and baking powder

Frosting Ingredients: Sugar, water, coconut, flour and vanilla

Double Chocolate (Devil’s Food):

Cake Ingredients: Flour (sifted), sugar, eggs, butter, whole milk, salt, vanilla, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder

Frosting Ingredients: Confectioner’s sugar (sifted), evaporated milk, butter, cocoa (sifted), and vanilla

Pumpkin Spice:

Cake Ingredients: Flour (sifted), sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, salt, baking soda, and baking powder

Frosting Ingredients: Confectioner’s sugar (sifted), cream cheese and vanilla

Red Velvet:

Cake Ingredients: Flour (sifted), sugar, eggs, butter, whole milk, salt, vanilla, cocoa, vinegar, baking soda, baking powder and red food coloring.

Frosting Ingredients: Confectioner’s sugar (sifted), cream cheese and vanilla

Smith Island Fudge:

Fudge Ingredients: Confectioner’s sugar (sifted), evaporated milk, butter, cocoa (sifted), and peanut butter
